The puppies are six weeks old! They have all been growing fast and are finally at their "fun stage". It is my favorite time to play with them since they are curious, but little enough to cuddle. They still love to be with Millie but are getting less time with her because they are getting bigger and rougher with her and each other. I am feeding the pups more food and they are starting to rely on it instead of Millie. They still tire easily but they are starting to get out of their 'baby' stage as they stay awake longer each day. They have only two weeks left with us until they go to their forever homes. I am sure they will love getting individual attention and playing/chewing on any new toys that your home has to offer!

Hello everyone! Happy new year! The puppies are four weeks old today. This means they will go to their forever homes in just four more weeks. They have been growing so fast and are starting to show their personalities! We have moved them out of their pool and into a section of our heated garage. We have started to feed them puppy food mixed with water, and they all love it! Millie still likes to be with them but in a little while they will be more annoying to her because they are getting their teeth! They are all healthy and growing fast so it won't be long before they leave the nest. I am happy that the pups all have good homes to welcome them! (Except for one-- she is still available, but we are sure she will find her family soon!)
-Ruth Laudermilch Happy New Year everybody! I wanted to let everyone know that the puppies are all doing great and growing fast! We have seen the pups start to climb out of their pool that they have been in since they were born. We put woodchips in their pool and now we will transfer them to a bigger space in our garage. We separate Millie and her puppies with a board that is short enough that she can jump over it so she can still feed the pups and play with them, but she can get a break when she is tired of being with them. They have started to use their legs and are tottering around. They are beginning little "fights" where they bite each other and climb on top of each other, but they get tired so easily and are still spending most of their days sleeping. Happy New Year!
P.S. We still have two females who aren't spoken for. They would be excited to go home to a new family! -Ruth Laudermilch The pups are over two weeks old today! They have all been sleeping, eating and growing a lot. A couple of them have been brought inside our house, while Millie goes outside for a quick break, because they have opened their eyes! The pups all seem to be growing quickly and they are all healthy. We have just started to see a bit of their personalities; some are squirmy and others a bit more chill. The puppies' names (for now) all start with c's, because it is Millie's third litter and we are doing alphabet letters. The boys' names are Charlie and Calvin and the girls' names are Coco, Chocolate, Candy, Carmel, Crystal, Cally, and Cindy. We will put felt collars on them when they are older so we will be able to tell them apart! Millie is doing great and caring for all of her puppies. Merry Christmas!
-Ruth Laudermilch ![]() Millie's puppies arrived on Sunday, December 12th in the middle of the night. There are seven girls and six boys, the opposite of her second litter where there were two girls and seven boys. They are now four days old and growing, but still tiny. Their first day was filled with eating and a lot of sleeping. The last two days they have started to wiggle around a bit, but if you peak at them you will most likely find them snoozing with mom laying beside them. Millie has been doing well also, and continues to eat bowls of food each day and she deserves it! Millie and the pups are in our heated garage, in a kiddie pool (for now). Right now they are mostly eating and sleeping and being their sleepy newborn selves. I will try to update this as they grow.
-Ruth Laudermilch So, our puppies are here and are already over two weeks old! There are four boys and one girl in the litter, and they are all growing so quickly!
They still spend most of their time eating and sleeping but I can see that they are quickly growing out of the newborn stage and will soon need some more space! They currently live in a "birthing pool" in our laundry room upstairs, but will be headed down to their own room in the basement by Monday! Two males are reserved from the litter, but there are still two boys and one girl available for adoption if you are interested. Don't forget to contact us! So, our big news is... we are expecting a new litter of puppies on October 6, 2019! We again bred Bella to Stoney-ridge goldens' Ruckus, as we were very happy with the puppies from their last litter.
I will post pictures after they are born! Millie Grace continues to grow, and she is no longer a puppy (in body) at seven months of age. She is going to be a tall girl, having already reached the same height as our Bella! Here is a picture of Millie Grace and her proud owner below: So, our puppies turned 8 weeks old on Thursday and all 3 have gone to their new homes- one fairly nearby, one near Scranton, and one to Rhode Island. We look forward to sharing pictures of them in their new homes once everyone is settled. It's hard to believe that the tiny little puppies, weighing much less than a pound each at birth, left weighing 18 lbs, 17 lbs, and 14 lbs. respectively. Mama did a good job with her puppies! So, of course, the kids were very sad to see them leave, but, their sorrow is most likely be short-lived, especially because we have a surprise to introduce to the world! Millie Grace entered our family today, April 27, 2019, after a long car ride from Philadelphia. Millie was born on the same day as our puppies, so she is also 8 weeks old! She belongs entirely to my daughter Ruth (9 years old) (who took out a loan from her parents to buy the puppy ;).)
While we could have kept a puppy from Bella's litter, we chose to try a different blood-line, just to keep some variety in the Gateway Golden dog population. Millie's parents are both imported from Europe and both Millie's mom and dad score well on Penn-Hip, and we will work on getting the puppy her clearances before breeding in the future. For now, the kids are enjoying their new baby! She is a sweetie! At 7 weeks old the puppies are running around anywhere they can get to. Elsa, our calmest puppy prefers to cuddle up and stay by her owner. Anna, on the other hand is way more active and likes to be let outside so she can run anywhere she pleases. Brittney (not pictured) is somewhere in the middle as far as personalities go. On any day all of the puppies like to be outside in the fresh air. They are all getting big and friendly. The puppies are doing well and will be ready to go to their new homes in a little more than a week.
The puppies are 5 weeks old and are walking and playing around our yard. They are adorable and their individual personalities are emerging nicely. "Elsa" is our shyest girl, the last one to venture out of the puppy pen, while "Anna" is our most "lively" girl, reminding me the most of her vivacious mother. "Britney" is somewhere in the middle and was chosen by her family this week! Here are some pictures of "Anna" below...
